Western Art & Indian Art Museum Painting & Sculpture Photos

Western Art collections encompass art depicting cowboys, wildlife, objects & the romance of the American West plus the arts & crafts created by American Indians (Native Americans) as they decorated their clothing, religious objects, pottery, beadwork, baskets, & everyday items. Some of these museums have joined together into an alliance called Museums West*. Notable early American artists often featured in such museums include Frederic Remington, Charles M. Russell & Albert Bierstadt.
