The Maxwell Museum of Anthropology sits on the campus of University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. The core of the collection is prehistoric native pottery of the Rio Grande valley. The museum building was designed in 1937 by noted New Mexico Pueblo Revival architect John Gaw Meem.
