Seattle Art Museum Photos

The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) moved downtown in 1991 to a new building at University St. & 1st Ave. designed by Venturi, Scott Brown & Assoc. The location was expanded in 2007 by architect Brad Cloepfil to provide more gallery space & a 12 floor office tower for both the Museum & other tenants. SAM has collections of modern, American, Northwest Coast Native, porcelain, & antiquities arts. SAM's original building now houses the museum's Asian Art collection.
