The A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art features the work of Arthur Roy Mitchell (1889-1977) who is best know for his cowboy illustrations for pulp fiction magazines. The museum also displays other items of Western Art. This Trinidad, CO museum is housed in an interesting former department store built 1903 or 1906 (150 E. Main St.) which was designed by architect John Conkie.
