Coburg in Franconia, Bavaria is a small town, once ruled by the Saxe-Coburg family which made its mark by marrying off family members to many of the Royal Families of Europe, including Prince Albert to Queen Victoria of England. Consequently many royal visits to Coburg served as incentive to make its town and castles into the beautiful sites that they are today.
