Milford Sound, New Zealand Photos

Milford Sound, on the south-west coast of the South Island, is accessed by a scenic mountain road or by Milford Track, a 54 km hiking trail. The very mischievous Kea Alpine parrot inhabits the area. A tourist cruise on the Sound, which extends 15 km inland, offers magnificent views of the mountains, the Falls & the marine life dwelling in this deep body of water.
