Cardiff Bay, formerly the docklands, was transformed into a massive fresh water lake by the building of Cardiff Barrage. Along with being a popular entertainment area, it is the site of Senedd Cymry (Welsh Parliament), the Wales Millennium Centre, the Pierhead building, & several works of public art.
