Arbroath Abbey Photos

Arbroath Abbey was one of the most important churches in early Scottish history. It is the site from where the Declaration of Arbroath (1320) asking for Scottish independence was submitted to Pope John XXII. Its ruins are run as a museum by Historic Scotland (HES).
