Monasterboice, Ireland Photos

Monasterboice consist of remains of an early Christian monastic settlement dating from the 5thC. The site is best known for its collection of Celtic & Muiredach's High Crosses (10thC), round tower (c968), & two churches (14thC or later). It is run by OPW.
