St Philip, Apostle Art Photos

St Philip Apostle (1stC) was a fisherman on Lake Galilee & may have been disciple of John the Baptist. Few details are known about his life. He was called by Jesus & witnessed the miracle of the loaves & fishes. According to tradition, he preached in Greece and was whipped & crucified upside down in Hierapolis under Emperor Domitian.
