St Jude Thaddeus, Apostle Art Photos

St Jude Thaddeus Apostle (1stC) is clearly identified as an Apostle by many sources, but little is known about his life. According to one legend, he preached in Syria, Mesopotamia & Persia where he was clubbed to death. Judas Thaddeus is not to be confused with Judas Iscariot, betrayer of Christ.

Attrib. Club; sometimes with axe, sword or stones.
