Limoges Enamels of France Photos

Limoges, France was famous for its vitreous enamel products (12thC) wherein glass powder was melted onto a metal substrate like copper. The artistic designs thus formed can be quite fine. Enamels which can not be attributed to Limoges are on another page with a link on this page.
