Limoges Porcelain, France (1840s on) Photos

The Haviland porcelain & earthenware merchant family of New York discovered the quality porcelain of Limoges, France in 1839. They acquired a factory in Limoges and streamlined the porcelain & painting functions to meet their American export market. Some images on this page may be from Limoges, but not by Haviland.
