St. Paul de Vence, a well known Riviera hill town, enjoys extraordinary views from its ramparts to the Mediterranean Sea & to the Alps. The town lends itself to walks along its traffic-free narrow cobblestone streets which are lined with stone houses (16th & 17thC) . The local cemetery, just outside the ramparts, contains the grave of Marc Chagall.
