Egyptian Hieroglyphs Photos

Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs consist of pictographic elements each of which may represent an idea, a sound, or the equivalent of a letter. This writing was not entirely decoded until the 1820s after the discovery of the Rosetta Stone.
