Donauwörth, Bavaria Photos

Donauwörth is located in Bavaria at the junction of the Danube and Wörnitz rivers between Nuremberg and Augsburg. In earlier times, the town had considerable military importance because its location allowed for relatively easy crossing of the two rivers. Today the town center is lined with Bavarian style, steep-roofed heritage buildings.
