St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Hamburg Photos

St. Michael's Lutheran Church (1762), on Englische Planke, was reconstructed 1912 after a fire & again post-WWII, and is notable for its Hanseatic baroque style, particularly the interior. Its copper clad spire whose height (132m) is prominent in Hamburg's skyline & is a landmark for ships sailing up the Elbe River.
