MS Cap San Diego Ship Museum, Hamburg Photos

MS Cap San Diego Museum Ship, launched in 1961, and now moored on the Elbe River, was one of the last German built cargo ships, before the advent of container ships. The ship, due to be scraped in 1986, was bought by the City of Hamburg and restored by volunteers. Virtually all of the ship is accessible to visitors to the museum.
