German Museum of Technology, Berlin - Air Collection Photos

German Museum of Technology (Deutsches Technikmuseum) has an aircraft collection focused on craft used in and prior to WWII. Since after WWI, Germany was forbidden to build military aircraft, but was permitted glider sports, Luftwaffe pilots were recruited and trained using gliders. The museum has a good collection of Nazi glider trophies. The building exterior supports a US Air Force Douglas C-47B Skytrain craft used in the Berlin airlift.
