University of Washington, Seattle Photos

The University of Washington at Seattle has a lakefront campus with a mix of Gothic & very modern buildings. The campus layout owes much to the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition of 1909 which centered around the Geyser Basin, now Drumheller Fountain. Suzzallo Library is the most spectacular of buildings. The campus also hosts the Thomas Burke Museum of Natural History & Culture and the Henry Art Gallery.
