Sitting just south of the Pioneer Square Heritage District Qwest Field (2002) by Ellerbe Becket + First & Goal, Inc. plus Safeco Field (1999) by NBBJ 360 Architecture provide Seattle's major sports venues. They replaced the Kingdome which was demolished in 2000.
