Aircraft Carrier USS Lexington, Corpus Christi, TX Photos

Now a museum ship, the Lex was launched in 1943 & was on duty 48 years. During WWII she fought in the Pacific & the Japanese called her the Blue Ghost after reporting her sunk & only to find carrier 16 still in fighting shape. The ship displays a good collection of naval aircraft.
