Toledo, Ohio sits on the end of Lake Erie up the Maumee River. The town grew as part of the route to the American west. Toledo is called a Glass Capital after its most noted industries making art glass, bottles, auto glass, & fiberglass. Toledo has several significant heritage buildings which are being repurposed in a modern landscape. It is also noted for its Museum of Art.
