The Egg, several monuments, a cultural center and an extensive underground concourse are all highlights. The architect for the entire project was Wallace K. Harrison. Harrison is also noted for New York City's 1939 World's Fair theme structures, LaGuardia Airport, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' master plan & its Metropolitan Opera House,.
