Washington's Winter HQs & Campaigns in NJ & PA Photos

George Washington's Revolutionary Army wintered & trained in places like Valley Forge, PA & Morristown, NJ. On Christmas of 1776, Washington led his troops to across the Delaware River to caption a garrison of British mercenaries at Trenton & then marched on to victory at the battle of Princeton.
