Tiffany Windows of Second Presbyterian Church, Chicago Photos

Victorian Gothic Second Presbyterian Church (1874) (1936 South Michigan Avenue) by James Renwick. Today the church is noted for its stained glass windows by Louis Comfort Tiffany & Edward Burne-Jones. When the church was built the area was surrounded by wealthy mansions & the congregation included the Pullmans (of railroad fame) & the widow of Abraham Lincoln.
