Glacier National Park, BC Photos

Glacier National Park on the Rogers Pass was established early in Canadian history, mainly due to needs of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Rather than haul a heavy dining car through the mountains, CP built Glacier House (1887-1925) as a stop for meals & to allow passengers to admire the surrounding Glaciers.
