Stowe House museum home of Harriet Beecher Stowe (1811-96) & her father Lyman Beecher who moved (1832) to Cincinnati to serve as a minister & president of Lane Theological Seminary. It was in Cincinnati that Harriet gained the firsthand accounts of slavery that evolved into her book Uncle Tom's Cabin. Cincinnati, OH.
