Liverpool, England Photos |
Liverpool, England on the wide Mersey River was once the major English port for trade with the Americas & British Colonies. Being the biggest arrival port for supply convoys in WWII it was heavily bombed and took decades to recover. However, the port area has finally become a major tourist attraction with restored heritage warehouses and new architecture like the Museum of Liverpool. Mementos of the Beatles grace the city and major museums host fine collections of art & history. |
