Falkirk Wheel Photos

The Falkirk Wheel (2002) serves as a canal lock with a difference. It is like a giant Ferris wheel with giant tubs in which boats float while they are lifted through rotation to higher or lower levels. The Wheel near Falkirk joins the Forth & Clyde Canal with the Union Canal to complete the pleasure boat route between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
