The Bullock Texas State History Museum traces Texas history from early native peoples through to the space age. Particular emphasis is given to events surrounding the Alamo and the Republic of Texas. The building (2001) (1800 North Congress Ave.) was designed by E. Verner Johnson & Assoc.
