Fort Worth Stockyards, TX Photos

Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District was a terminus on the Chisholm Trail where steers were driven north to be put on rail cars for transport to feed the Eastern USA. Today, a bit of the old frontier is preserved here, rodeos run regularly & shops cater to tourists. The district also hosts a small Stockyards Museum.
