The McNay Art Museum occupies the Marion McNay & Donald T. Atkinson mansion (1929) designed by Atlee B. Ayres & Robert M. Ayres. The Spanish-colonial revival structure has features and gardens worth a visit in themselves. The art collection ranges from Medieval, through Impressionist, to very modern.
