Taos Pueblo, Taos, NM Photos

The Taos Pueblo just north of Taos is probably the best known of the native Pueblo villages of New Mexico because of its multi-story adobe structure. The village which is open to visit through an admission charge is both on the National Register and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Pueblo dates from sometime between 1000 and 1450.
