Waterford, Ireland Photos

Waterford, Ireland was founded (10th C) as a Viking port settlement, was taken under Norman control (12th C) and gained wealth through the town's monopoly as the prime port on the southern coast of Ireland. Waterford glass manufacturing added to the town's prominence.
