General James Wolfe Photos

General James Wolfe executed a bold plan during the 1759 Battle of Quebec wherein he had British troops climb a cliff overnight up to the Plains of Abraham leading to the defeat of the French at Quebec City. While Wolfe died during the victory he became a symbol of the British Empire as the rule Canada switched from France to the UK. This page indexes the paintings & decorative objects depicting Wolfe.
