St Dorothy Art Photos

St Dorothy (martyred c303) a Christian resident of Cappadocia, refused to make sacrifices to Roman gods as ordered by Emperor Diocletian. On the way to her execution she met lawyer Theophilus, who mocked her to send fruit from her garden of heaven. As she knelt a basket of fruit & roses appeared which she had sent to Theophilus, who then converted & was also executed.
