St Denis Photos

St Denis (martyred 258) was assigned from Italy to be Bishop of Paris in 250. He was so successful in conversions, it provoked his beheading. Legend has it that he then picked up his head and walked north to what is now St Denis Basilica, the burial site of most French kings.
