Meissen - Mythical Beasts & Stylized Oriental Foliage (1720-40s) Photos

Following Oriental scenes, Meissen porcelain painting evolved to an era of mythical beast and stylized foliage in the Japanese manner. Indian flowers was a name for some patterns, but were not like those from India, but just Oriental in style.
