Meissen - Bird, Insect & Flower Designs (1735-60s) Photos

Starting about 1735 Meissen started shifting its porcelain paintings from mythical animals & stylized plants to scientifically observed insects, flowers & birds. In later works flowers also sculpted onto the vessels.
