Gunpowder Flasks Photos

For military purposes, armies started making gunpowder flasks of metal. Such flasks were faster to produce, could be better sealed to keep the powder dry, & incorporated valves allowing gun barrels to be filled with one hand. The metals used were one which did not spark like brass or copper.
