Pewter Objects Photos

Pewter is an alloy mostly tin, with another metal such as copper, antimony, bismuth, lead or silver added for hardness. It has been used since ancient Egypt for casting plates and tankards. Antique pewter is not a common as one might anticipate because being soft, it wears and was frequently just remelted to make new objects.
