German & Bohemian Glass Humpen Photos

Glass Humpen enameled with commemorative scenes were tall cylindrical beakers with or without covers popular mostly in the late 16th-early 18th Century. Decorations featured German electors, hunting scenes, saints and allegorical scenes. (Scenes with Imperial Eagles are shown on their own page linked below.) Humpens were produced in Germany, Bohemia and Silesia. Some enameled beakers with similar scenes are included to allow artistic comparisons.
