Tea Kettles & Urns Photos

Early tea pots evolved to sit on a matching stand which contained a heat source to keep the beverage warm. Others designed to contain larger volumes of tea or hot water were designed with valved spouts or swivel stands so pouring could be done without lifting the pot. Such tea or hot water urns are sometimes called samovars.
