Bow-font Sideboards Photos

Around 1790, a style of bow-fronted sideboard became popular. The style was called Federalist in the USA or Georgian in the UK. The horizontal cabinet was about as tall as the thin supporting legs (four in front, two in back. The wood was often inlaid with neoclassical marquetry designs. Notable pulls were part of the design.
