Mt. Washington & Pairpoint Glass Photos

The Mt. Washington Glass Works was founded in 1837 in South Boston and moved to New Bedford in 1870. Pairpoint Manufacturing Co. was established in New Bedford in 1880 to make metalwares. The two factories collaborated, then merged in 1894. They operated under the Pairpoint name from 1900 until the 1930s. The company was known for colors and names like Amberina, Burmese, Peachblow, Crown Milano, etc.
