Les Baux, France Photos

Les Baux is a village which sits high on a rocky crag topped by the ruins of castle from the Middle Ages. The town gave its name to a mineral known as Bauxite which rich in aluminum was mined in the area between 1822 and the late 20thC. The scenic nature of Les Baux is now the source of its tourist industry.
