Ancient Egyptian Portrait & Standing Statues Photos

Ancient Egyptian portraits were made to memorialize a Pharoh or person. As sculpture, these static carvings tend to work as art only when viewed from the front or sides. The Egyptians, unlike the Greeks, did not invent a way to represent a 3-D space which was dynamic when views diagonally.
