Building Museum, Washington, DC Photos

The Museum of Building is located in the former Pension Building (1885) (4th & 5th Sts. between F & G Sts. NW) built to serve Civil War Pensioners by architect Montgomery C. Meigs. It is on the National Register and has been the site of several Presidential Inaugural Balls. The Museum of Building focuses on matters of architecture and how buildings are used and decorated.
