Ceramic Tile Stoves Photos

To heat rooms cleanly, European palaces & the mansions of the rich, installed tile-covered ovens or stoves with connections to back rooms from which heat was produced and fires serviced. Thus servants could tend the stoves from elsewhere and smoke was not released into these better rooms.
